What we do with your info.

Short version: we collect what we need to book your appointment and do the work, we keep it secure, and we don’t sell or share it with anyone outside the few services that run our business. Last updated May 2026.

What we collect

  • Contact info you give us when you fill out a booking or quote form: name, email, phone.
  • Vehicle details you tell us about the job — year, make, model, body style, the windows you want done, the film type, mobile vs in-shop, any notes you add.
  • Payment info when you put down a deposit. Card numbers go directly to Stripe, our payment processor — they never touch our servers. We see only the amount, the last 4 digits, and Stripe’s receipt ID.
  • Communications — the email replies, texts, and phone notes we send back and forth about your appointment.

What we use it for

  • Confirming and scheduling your appointment.
  • Sending booking confirmations, reminders the day before, and follow-ups when the work is done.
  • Looking up your prior jobs if you come back for more.
  • Reaching out about your booking if something needs to change (running late, weather, supply issues).

Who we share it with

Only the services that actually run our business — and only the specific pieces those services need:

We don’t sell your info to anyone. We don’t share it with marketing networks, data brokers, or other third parties. If a court order forces us to disclose something, we’ll tell you unless we’re legally barred from doing so.

How long we keep it

Booking records stick around for as long as you’re an active customer, plus seven years for tax and warranty reasons. You can ask us to delete your record any time after the warranty window ends.

Your rights

You can email us at Bookings@jdmjonnytints.com to:

  • See exactly what we have on you.
  • Fix anything that’s wrong.
  • Delete your record (subject to tax/warranty constraints).
  • Opt out of marketing emails — we don’t send any, but every email we do send (booking confirmations, reminders) has an unsubscribe link.

Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies needed to keep the site working (e.g., signing in as the owner to the admin area). We don’t run third-party advertising trackers.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we’ll update the date at the top and post a note on this page.
